The Birmingham Boys Choir, which opened the concert with five short numbers, again revealed the steady musical growth of the 80-plus member group. They held their own with Tenebrae nicely in an encore, an arrangement by BBC director Ken Berg of the hymn tune, “God of Love, King of Peace.” Tenebrae followed with another encore, Bruckner’s Gradual in C Major, “Locus iste.” (Read.
